ImpactCR has announced the return of “All aBoard:  Leadership through Committees, Boards & Commissions” scheduled for Thursday September 16^th at the Linn County Non-Profit Resource Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Launched in 2006, the All aBoard workshop provides resources and insight from community professionals on board structure and dynamics for attendees interested in taking their basic volunteer skills to the leadership level. Topics for the 2010 workshop will include fundraising, finance and strategic planning, with keynote speaker Casey Prince, Executive Director of Theatre Cedar Rapids. The evening will also provide time for networking and information on board openings among non-profits in the Corridor. 

Registration is now available online at www.impactcr.org. Workshop fee is $10 for members of sponsoring organizations, $5 for students and $20 for the general public.

Sponsors for All aBoard include Clearly Compliant, ImpactCR, Linn County Non-Profit Resource Center, United Way of East Central Iowa Young Leader Society, Mediacom and BRAISE Catering.

Description: Members & Mixers is the umbrella group for ImpactCR's social and membership committees. We provide information to new and prospective members regarding all events/programs/activities that are available within ImpactCR. M&M events include Siren Wednesday, DINE, Night at the Theatre with TCR, Ugly Holiday Sweater Party and much more!
